Help us Train the Next Gen of Developers!

Lighthouse Labs started in 2013 with the vision of training the next generation of professional developers and transforming the way tech education is delivered. Five years later we have three main branches (in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal), satellite campuses (in Victoria and Calgary), and have run various learn to code events across Canada. We have graduated over 1500 students and have a 96% employment rate. Phewf!

Our Vancouver branch is currently looking for a dynamic, organized, self starter who is excited to join our team and have a direct impact on our continued growth. You are a people person who prides themselves on their high EQ, maturity and ability to communicate with and understand a wide variety of personalities. You embrace both your own and other’s quirks and have a secret (or not so secret) love for a certain level of nerdom. You get passionate about what you involve yourself with and are excited by the idea of being out in the community (evening events are a reality) to meet potential students. Your organizational skills go without saying and you are comfortable processing a large number of admin type tasks in a fast paced environment.

Lighthouse Labs prides itself on having a strong Admissions Process. We want to ensure that all students accepted into the program are a good fit for the Bootcamp. We value our culture and look for students who thrive in an intensive environment and have the grit, aptitude and the passion to succeed as developers. It’s our Admissions team’s job to be able to identify if potential students have the factors needed to succeed in our program.

So what will you do?

Reporting to the GM, the Admissions Coordinator will be the first point of contact for applicants and potential applicants. You will be responsible for handling the entire funnel, from application through to student onboarding. This includes being comfortable dealing with people, paper and process. You’ll need to:
