At Lighthouse Labs we aim to empower our students to master the craft of software development, launch careers and contribute to the incredible growth of Canada’s tech industry. Code is a craft and the best way to work on your craft is to study under people who treat the practice of code as such. We believe in outcome driven education, that is built through a curriculum that is treated like a product i.e. constantly being tested, challenged, improved, and is contributed to by a community of developers who equally care about how to best train the next generation of developers.

What You’ll be Doing

Teach and mentor our curriculum on your own terms. We structure our teaching opportunities so you can be as passive or active as you like, working anywhere from 3-20 hours per week or even full time. Providing one-on-one hands on mentorship is just the start of how our teaching staff can contribute to Lighthouse Labs and our student’s success. Below are some additional opportunities we provide:

Technical Qualifications:

Mentors don’t need to have had formal training. They also don’t need to come in knowing every technology we teach. We have a dynamic curriculum and devs can learn and ramp up in parallel with mentoring on the floor.
