Lighthouse Labs prides itself on our hands on and proactive approach to our students. From our hands on Admissions approach to our to help plan and execute events and foster our fantastic community of developers and devs-to-be. You will be supporting our Marketing team with various tasks including: admissions student tracking, events, social media, contribute written content and data analysis.
You are looking to gain valuable experience working with students and helping to support them through their career change, face to face and through supporting our presence in the community through events and community management. You are comfortable being uncomfortable and always looking for ways to learn, grow, and excel. You aren’t afraid to pitch in to set up for events (you’re a table moving pro), and make sure the beer and pizza will arrive on time. You love to be on the front line representing us at different events, the sound of your own voice (and it’s a loud one), and are certainly not afraid to introduce yourself to everyone in a room. You are someone who can have a conversation with both extroverts and introverts, and have a soft spot (or a deep profound love) for a certain level of Nerdom. And dogs!
You are an executor at the core of your being. You love events and are comfortable directing logistics for events of all scale, from 40 person meetups to weekend long hackathons. You are a multi-faceted badass, and are willing to go the extra mile. Bonus points if you bring in passion for education, technology and software development.
