September is always an exciting month, and here in the Toronto tech scene we have a packed month of amazing community events. The biggest of these events is Elevate, the annual tech festival hosted throughout downtown Toronto for a week at the tail end of each September. It boasts an incredibly impressive and diverse roster of speakers, attracts national and international attention, and has some amazing sessions! This year the highlights include Chris Hadfield, a special evening with Michelle Obama, and a series of great one-day tracks focused around specific topics in the industry. Lighthouse Labs is super excited for the week, and we’re happy to continue our partnership with Elevate as an official venue for their Elevate King West nightlife series. Elevate King West events round off the end of each day of festivities, and offers festival-goers the opportunity to explore the vibrant city and tech community in Toronto. That’s why Lighthouse Labs is hosting our very own party to welcome the tech community into our space on Wednesday September 25th. Lighthouse Labs Presents: The Before Party, is a one-night-only event where we open our doors to helping Elevate festival-goers and our community get ready for a night on the town. We’ll have games, getting-ready stations, snacks and more! So come by on Wednesday night and see why the Before Party is the new after party.
