As an HR professional, you must be trained to implement the basics of cybersecurity policies in your organization. With a high number of cyberattacks caused by employee error and a high volume of employees now working remotely, HR professionals must be included in the cybersecurity process to help guide and mobilize the right leaders in the organization to ensure employees are adopting best practices for safeguarding against online threats.
Cyber Security Training for HR is a 1-day workshop designed to empower you to educate employees about safe practices when using the internet for their work, including best practices such as NIST 800-50 (the standard for building an information technology security awareness and training program). Ensure employees are well-versed in cybersecurity fundamentals and are adhering to policies that protect both your company and its' employees alike. This training does not assume any prior knowledge of the subject matter.
* All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of this course.
* Our course is delivered in partnership with the Canadian Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) association.
* CPHR Nova Scotia, CPHR Saskatchewan, CPHR Alberta, and CPHR BC & Yukon members will be given one (1) credit of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for every hour of participation. Up to 8 CPD credits are available for course completion.
