The day has arrived — ALL our bootcamps are getting the Flex treatment. These programs are completed over 18 and 30 weeks and come with the same great supports that set Lighthouse Labs apart, like mentorship, career services for life, accommodations, and more.
This means that you can choose which timeline works best for you without compromising the quality of your education when life can’t be put on hold (someone has to feed Fido).

Flex programs follow the same curriculum, lectures, and assignments as bootcamps. The only difference is that Flex is completed part-time, usually over 18 weeks for Data Analytics and 30 weeks for other Flex programs.
Flex programs allow Lighthouse Labs to make good on our commitment to inclusivity by offering the same quality online education in a more flexible format for those who need it.
Enrolling in one of the Flex programs gives you access to the same services bootcamp students receive, such as mentorship, student success coordinators, accommodations and other wraparound services.
Both bootcamps and flex programs cover the same material. Students of both will become familiar with the fundamentals concepts and techniques of their chosen program. The key difference between these delivery formats is the structure. A Flex program is a less concentrated program over a longer stretch of time, whereas a Bootcamp is more concentrated. These two programs both exist to accommodate a wider variety of student lifestyles, priorities, and preferred learning pace, so that students can strike a balance that works for them without compromising on quality.
Both these programs exist so as to accommodate students’ lifestyles and priorities. If you’re currently working in a position that you want to continue while training, we recommend you enroll in a less concentrated Flex program. This is also a great option if you’re a parent or caregiver with substantial childcare duties. If you want to start a new career as soon as possible and don’t want to wait for six months, Bootcamp is the better option for you. This is also a good fit if you have an open schedule or can make other commitments work with a more intense program.
These programs are fundamentally equivalent in terms of content. For some, the more intensive schedule of a Bootcamp may be more challenging, but for others, the longer stretch of a Flex program might be more challenging.
Yes, Flex students also benefit from guidance with the Career Services dream team as part of their program. This is a service offered for life, meaning that alumni can keep coming back for relevant career advice long after graduating.
