The HTML & CSS workshop has been one of our most popular public events over the last few years. Each one has filled up within days resulting in large waitlists. Due to this overwhelming demand, we are very happy to announce that we will be hosting bi-weekly HTML & CSS workshops in our Vancouver and Toronto campuses throughout the summer! Starting on July 11th in Vancouver and July 20th in Toronto, these sessions will be offered on both weeknights and weekends. Look below for the details! Who is the HTML/CSS Workshop for? This event is for people with little to no coding experience or those looking to revisit the basics. More experienced coders are of course welcome but one of our other events, like TechStarter Code Nights or our Free Javascript workshop, might be a better and more challenging fit. What will you learn at the HTML/CSS Workshop? We believe that digital literacy is necessary in today’s world and that everyone should have easy access to appropriate resources. We created this workshop as an introduction to the basics of coding and to help improve digital literacy. You won’t be an expert by the end of the evening but participants will be able to build a basic website and understand how HTML and CSS can be used to customize a website. We will have industry professional mentors and alumni on hand to guide participants through the exercises and to answer any questions. How much does the HTML/CSS Workshop cost? Free! We want to make sure as many people as possible have the chance to attend so we are proud to offer this workshop at no charge to the community!
