Working just down the street at Telus Digital, Ruxandra is is a very familiar face around Lighthouse Labs in Vancouver! Since graduating Bootcamp just over a year ago, she's not only kicking butt in her role as a Developer, but has been contributing to the dev community over and over by mentoring, lending her skills to Ladies Learning Code and being an exemplary role model for aspiring women coders. We caught up with Ruxandra to learn what she's been up to in her One Year After Bootcamp.
Laith is one of the very first graduates from our Toronto campus! After finishing his undergrad with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Laith took the plunge to enrol in bootcamp in pursuit of a career that excited him.
James Matsuba is a very familar face around Lighthouse Labs Vancouver. A graduate of our May 2015 cohort, James was our loyal intern for 6 whole months, bringing huge injection of energy and positivty to the team! He's since moved on to bigger projects, working with Guestfolio during the week, and exploring the amazing outdoor life found in beautiful Whistler, BC. Kevin Blues is a former Lighthouse Labs student, turned mentor for our Web Development Bootcamp! Grant Winter is one of our original alumni, having graduated from our Web Development Bootcamp in March of 2014. He came to Lighthouse to refresh his career after finding no joy in being a Chiropractor, and now is loving life as a father of a brand new baby and a Rails developer with Vogogo in Calgary.
Katie Peterson is a graduate of both our part-time Intro to Web Development course and our full-time iOS Bootcamp in Vancouver! She's taken the time to write about her experience with Lighthouse Labs taking her from Engineer to a new career as an iOS Developer in Calgary.
