Youth in Tech in Partnership with Immigrant Services Society of BC
2018 - Ongoing
This Project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia..Youth in Tech provides digital skills and job readiness training for immigrant youth ages 17-29 to help them launch a career in tech - web development, digital marketing/design, or information & communications technology courses.
OWN Tech Initiative
April 2020 - Ongoing
This Project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.Lighthouse Labs comes together with the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre, CATA Alliance, My New Job Hunt, Riipen and the Social Planning Council of Ottawa to provide an innovative, made-in-Ontario solution to the employment and skills barriers experienced by newcomer women in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region. Sixty newcomer women with a background in IT upskill in a bootcamp format with in-demand technical skills and complementary soft skills. Then, employment services will be provided to match them with employers to start a career commensurate with background and experience.
Cyber Bootcamp, in partnership with CyberNB

Cyber attacks are on the rise, as is the demand for cybersecurity professionals to address those vulnerabilities. Lighthouse Labs has partnered with the non-profit CyberNB, to offer a new re-skilling program: Cyber Bootcamp, run 100% online and open to students everywhere in Canada.
Code Create Teach in partnership with Kids Code Jeunesse
February 2018 - Ongoing
With funding from the Government of Canada
Designed to provide teachers in every province and territory with the confidence and tools needed to bring the fundamentals of computational thinking and coding into the classrooms. LHL supported 2,703 teachers through over 100 free one-day introductory workshops on coding and computational thinking.
Indigenous Tech Talent Development in partnership with First Nations Technology Council (FNTC)
2017 - Ongoing
The Bridging to Technology program provides Indigenous youth with comprehensive wrap-around training and services they need to pursue specialized training in a technical field. 73% of graduates to date are working in developer or tech related roles.
Women Learning to Code & Take Leadership in partnership with International Development and Relief Foundation and The United Way Greater Toronto.

Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) Program
Until March, 2021
This Project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.The Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) Program is a wage subsidy program that connects underemployed post-secondary graduates with digital employment opportunities at small businesses where youth can gain meaningful work experience to help them transition to career-oriented employment. This is our way of helping Canada’s youth prepare for the digital workforce.
Soldiers in Tech Project in partnership with Roland Gossage Foundation
April 2020 - March 2021
This Project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.Soldiers in Tech is a program that helps veterans begin new chapters in their careers, and transition to civilian life, by using technology. This program provides training and employment support to veterans in Ontario.
Accelerating Possibilities Project in partnership with Woodgreen Community Services
This Project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.Accelerating Possibilities: Pathways to Employment in IT and Insurance brings together a consortium of employers, non-profit employment and training organizations and private trainers to prepare mid-career workers for tech-driven jobs in web development, data science and insurance customer support. We want to make sure that no one feels left behind in the world of new technology and that all workers have the opportunity to meet their full potential.
